When someone moves into dementia care, families gradually lose touch — and the relationship that matters most to a resident's wellbeing quietly fades. Family Bridge helps care providers keep that bond alive. We're now looking for partners to shape and pilot it.
The problem
The bond fades quietly. The strain doesn't.
For the families you support, a move into care brings little relief. The son or daughter often arrives depleted from years of caring — full of guilt, unsure how to stay close. With no clear way to stay involved, the worry turns into calls, visits, and questions for your already-stretched team. The resident feels the distance, and the strain spreads to everyone around them.
